Job Summary:

Affinity Care Recruitment is seeking an experienced Interim Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our home care services in Hull. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care management and a passion for delivering exceptional care to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of our home care services, including scheduling, staffing, and client care plans
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of home care staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure quality and consistency of care
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of home care services
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of care for clients
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new home care staff
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care and staff performance
  • Handle any client or staff concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of home care operations
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our home care services

Qualifications:

  • Previous Registered Manager experience/ Deputy Manager in a Home Care or Care Home setting
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in home care management
  • Strong knowledge of home care regulations and policies
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
