Avoiding Communication Barriers: We are recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to fill a vital role in supporting individuals with additional needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team and contribute to creating a supportive environment for our pupils to thrive.
You will work closely with colleagues from Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and therapy assistants to develop holistic therapeutic approaches that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the guidance of a senior speech and language therapist to complete a preceptorship year.
- Develop and implement therapeutic approaches that address the complex needs of pupils.
- Conduct assessments and screenings as required, with report writing supported by your supervisor.
- Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.
- BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Ability to assess young people's needs and create effective treatment plans.
- Strong communication skills for working with families, carers, Local Authorities, and communities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing pupil and service needs.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this position is 40,000 - 50,000 per annum, based on national averages for Speech and Language Therapists in the East Midlands region.
