Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the operational strategy of a fast-growing start-up FMCG brand. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in operations, with a strong understanding of COGS, development processes, and managing co-manufacturing.

As Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the function and leading the team as it has recently transferred its production from EMEA to the UK. This role offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on management, making it an exciting challenge for those who thrive in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Strategy Development: Develop and execute the operational strategy to achieve the 3-year commercial objectives relating to price, products, legal, and operational capabilities.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage the Head of Operations, Senior Product Development Manager, and the Operations Manager, providing direction, guidance, and support in executing their responsibilities. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and ensure the business's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure that operational processes are compliant.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of COGS, development processes, and managing co-manufacturing.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams, with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset to problem-solve.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in operational systems, project management tools, and data-driven decision-making.
