As a Functional Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the claimant.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage caseloads from end to end, including delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports.
- Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
- Have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
- Competitive salary range of £38,500 - £41,500
- 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality and retention bonus
- OTE: £45,650
- Hybrid full-time and part-time working hours available
- Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week)
- 25 days' holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service
