This role is an exciting opportunity to work within our Pulmonary Rehabilitation team at Hywel Dda University Health Board.
The successful candidate will be part of a friendly, proactive rehabilitative therapy team, working collaboratively with our community-based multidisciplinary team.
As a Therapy Assistant Practitioner, you will be expected to provide high-quality, evidence-based person-centered care to people across Hywel Dda, with potential opportunities to work within the Multi-Model Rehabilitation service.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties include facilitating groups and community caseloads, delivering exercise and relaxation components under the supervision of occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
You will also assist with clinical duties, such as exercise delivery and relaxation, as well as administrative tasks, in the provision of an efficient, caring, patient-focused service.
The role may involve traveling to and working across other hospital and community sites in support of service delivery across Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, and Pembrokeshire.

Person Specification
You will need evidence of a Level 3 qualification relevant to the workplace, skills in Microsoft Office applications, and numeracy and literacy to at least Level 2.
Experience of working within a therapy service, managing own time, prioritizing activities, and contributing to improving services is essential.
Desirable qualifications include Trusted Assessor training in equipment and adaptations, knowledge of clinical governance, and experience of working in group settings.
Language Skills
