Job Title: Social Worker – Child Assessment and Safeguarding Service

At Tripod Partners, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Child Assessment and Safeguarding Service in North East Lincolnshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community.

About the Role:

As a Social Worker in our Child Assessment and Safeguarding Service, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of children and families, identifying needs and risks. You will develop and implement tailored safety and support plans to ensure the well-being of children, collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to deliver integrated support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of children and families, identifying needs and risks.
  • Develop and implement safety and support plans to ensure the well-being of children.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to deliver integrated support.
  • Engage in safeguarding investigations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of casework, assessments, and interventions.
  • Advocate for children's rights and needs, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding, with a strong understanding of child welfare legislation.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • A commitment to anti-oppressive practice and promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex cases.
