Primary School Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4 teacher to join our team at an ambitious primary school. As a Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
- Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
- Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
- Keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.
Our school is a two-form entry school located in a lovely residential area. We have a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms. We aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through our supportive pastoral environment. The school is easily commutable to or within Tilehurst, Reading via public transport.
Requirements- Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply).
- Experience teaching LKS2.
- The confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
