Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Five Rivers Child Care Ltd. Our new home in Plymouth, Devon, provides a supportive living environment for young people aged 16+.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and guide young people to prepare for independent living
  • Support young people with school and college work
  • Use trauma-informed practices to support young people who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences
  • Participate in and plan activities to support young people's development

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 or Equivalent in Residential Child Care
  • Emotional awareness and resilience to support young people and staff
  • Ability to work alone with young people
  • Driver's license essential
