Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Five Rivers Child Care Ltd. Our new home in Plymouth, Devon, provides a supportive living environment for young people aged 16+.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in teaching and guiding our young people to prepare for independent living. You will participate in and plan activities to support them with school and college work, and provide emotional support using our trauma-informed practices.

Our team is committed to investing in your progression as a professional in the childcare sector. We source and deliver up-to-date training opportunities and prioritize your personal development goals to ensure you get the most out of your career.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a minimum Level 3 or Equivalent in Residential Child Care. You will be expected to work alone with young people and have a driver's license. You must commit to the training Five Rivers provides for this home, as well as monthly team meetings and reflective space.
