Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Kelvinside Academy, a leading independent school in Glasgow.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in child development, positive behaviour management, and child protection. They will also have experience working with 3-5 year olds and be familiar with the Curriculum for Excellence Early level Experiences and Outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team, plan and implement activities to enable learning through play, and monitor and evaluate children's learning and progress. They will also be able to use their own initiative, communicate effectively, and support and implement curriculum developments.
Applicants should be fully qualified with a minimum SVQ Level 3/HNC in Childcare and Education. The position is part-time, 14 hours per week, and the successful candidate will take up post in January 2025.
