Job Overview
TITLE: Procurement Specialist
LOCATION: Abercynon, South Wales

We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to join our team at TT Electronics Abercynon. As a key member of our Purchasing Team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of suppliers from whom we buy goods and services critical to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining assigned supplier relations by selecting suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring procurement of nominated materials and services by the most economic, timely, and efficient means.
- Analyzing, negotiating, and reporting supplier price changes.
- Conducting periodic commodity surveys to obtain price comparisons and evaluating market trends to develop new services and create cost savings.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Ability to think strategically with an innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost reduction through the use of appropriate strategic purchasing tools.
- Familiarity with ERP, MRP systems, and purchasing systems.
