About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning and Performance Officer to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Programme Management Office (PMO), you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of projects and programmes across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective project support to clinical and corporate services, ensuring projects are delivered within the project management framework and governance structures.
  • Offer technical PMO support, advice, and guidance to project managers and owners, ensuring consistent governance and quality standards.
  • Assure reporting of projects within their portfolio, providing stakeholders with accurate and timely information.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of projects within the project management system, ensuring an effective and informed first point of contact for project managers and key stakeholders.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Degree-level qualification appropriate to the post or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 / MSP / Agile) or actively working towards a qualification.
  • Proven experience in a project support role, with experience of working within a project and/or programme environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with project managers and stakeholders.
