About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, where you will have the chance to lead a dedicated team providing exceptional care to adolescents. As a Nurse Manager in Adolescent Services, you will oversee the daily operations of Ward 14, ensuring high standards of patient care and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as a resource for staff, advising on national, local, and Trust policy and procedures
  2. Investigate complaints, concerns, and serious incidents, promoting learning from events
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports, utilising IT systems to secure timely data
  4. Implement resolutions to complex clinical and non-clinical issues, monitoring outcomes
  5. Support education and training provision for identified staff groups, patients, and carers

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, based on location and experience

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Children's Nurse qualification
  • Experience working in paediatric care, particularly with adolescents
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
