Principal Design Safety Engineer

As a Principal Design Safety Engineer at BAE Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our Trident program. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex safety cases, integrating complex systems and/or systems engineering, and managing activities under the DSM Key Safety Function (KSF).
The successful candidate will have experience in working with multiple stakeholders with different specialisms and navigating complex organisational constructs. They will also be responsible for liaising with Trident Systems Project Team and US organisations through UK/US Technical Exchanges to understand the Joint Safety Schedule.
This role comes with a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
