About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Principal Waste Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from client consultancy to comprehensive turn-key solutions, and to contribute to the development of innovative waste management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement waste management strategies, including radioactive waste inventory development and waste-led decommissioning strategy development.
  • Conduct technical work and deliver projects across a range of our operations, including nuclear decommissioning and waste management.
  • Manage tasks and projects, covering technical, quality, and financial management.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with top-tier civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to deliver captivating projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in radioactive waste management, with a strong understanding of UK nuclear licensed sites and Site Licence companies.
  • Experience in operating waste management facilities or undertaking studies exploring the use of such facilities.
  • Consulting and project management experience, with a focus on nuclear decommissioning and waste management.
  • Strong technical skills, including waste management studies, environmental studies, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong sense of commitment and a willingness to learn.
