Job Overview

Stirling Council is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Arnprior Nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing administrative support to our nursery team.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £25,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a 27.5 hour per week post, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 1:30pm.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service), flexible working, biennial incremental progression, and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Job Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the nursery team, including dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, providing word processing and typing services, and maintaining child-related nursery records. You will also have opportunities to participate in staff development training opportunities and develop your understanding of school systems and programmes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience of working in a nursery or school setting. You will also need to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
