Job Summary

The role will be required to provide efficient and effective administrative support to Yeovil District Hospital and wider team members. This will involve providing flexible remote administrative support to the wider booking offices, supporting the MSK Service across Somerset as required and as requested by the Administration Manager.

Main Duties of the Job

Deal with day-to-day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses to provide patients, staff, and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner. Receive telephone calls, accepting messages on behalf of members of the specialty team, taking appropriate action where necessary.

Produce copies for appropriate agencies, filing copies in the correct sequence, ensuring follow-up arrangements are in place. List outstanding investigations on the hospital database system. Process urgent referrals and arrange appropriate outpatient appointments. Participate in team and Trust meetings as requested.
