About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced social worker to join our Safeguarding Adults hub as a Senior Practitioner. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced dynamic team who are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of adults in West Sussex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess risk and determine whether further enquiries should be made under section 42 of the Care Act 2014.
  • Work across different agencies, including the police, fire service, domestic abuse services, and health, to ensure a comprehensive approach to safeguarding adults.
  • Develop and maintain successful approaches to safeguarding adults in West Sussex, working closely with the team to ensure best practice.
  • Provide a working environment that values professional supervision and offers the right balance between challenge and support.
