Job Title: Head of Safeguarding and Compliance Specialist

Location: This role is commutable from various locations, including Haywards Heath, Horsham, Guildford, and Worthing.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our safeguarding and compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and providing training to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the staff team responsible for supporting young people in education.
  2. Serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and providing any necessary training.
  3. Prepare person-centered plans and work directly with students and support teams.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in the social care sector, whether with adults or children and young people.
  2. Essential knowledge of safeguarding and compliance.
