Job Title: Senior Practitioner - Adults Safeguarding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Practitioner to join our Adults Safeguarding Hub as a permanent member of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing needs, negotiating and implementing effective plans and outcomes, while prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing complex situations and developing effective plans and outcomes
  • Managing situations with competing risks and utilizing a risk enablement approach
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with a wide range of people
  • Modeling and using social work skills in practice, supervision, mentoring and leadership
  • Employing a range of social work approaches and interventions
  • Working autonomously with a complex caseload and prioritizing work to meet performance expectations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or recognized equivalent qualification
  • Recognized post-qualifying award in Social Work or demonstrable evidence of continuous professional development
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Leadership skills and experience of working in partnership with people, carers, colleagues and external agencies
  • Experience of undertaking assessments and social work intervention planning, implementation and review
