About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As the first point of contact for our community mental health team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive front of house cover and supporting the administrative team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and greet visitors, directing staff and liaising with clinical team members and administrative staff
  • Manage own workload and prioritize tasks to adapt to changing demands
  • Meet agreed deadlines and maintain attention to detail and accuracy
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry and document preparation

Requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent in English Language at Grade C or above
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Professional telephone manner and commitment to personal development
  • Planning and organizational skills, with ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy

Desirable Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration, or equivalent
  • Audio typing experience and knowledge of FTB Database - Carenotes
  • Current or recent administrative experience in NHS/Health Care or similar setting
