Job Title: Receptionist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Hagley Road Retirement Village. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and will provide a warm and welcoming service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet visitors in a pleasant and friendly manner.
  • Provide a friendly and helpful telephone service.
  • Ensure all visitors and contractors can be accounted for in case of an emergency.
  • Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and report any shortfalls.
  • Provide a typing and photocopying service and order stationery on a weekly basis.
  • Set up systems to manage and keep accurate records of meeting room bookings.
  • Take comprehensive messages for members of staff or residents, ensuring they are passed on.
  • Train and guide residents, volunteers, or others to provide a competent service.

Requirements:

  • Proven people skills with impeccable customer service and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
