About the Role:

Nifty Gateway Studio is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our core systems, ensuring they are lean, efficient, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refactor and maintain our core systems to prepare them for growth.
  • Work with the team to deliver projects by insisting on high standards of coding and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Understand our core business objectives and ideate and implement new features to help us achieve our goals.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues by leveraging your deep understanding of the systems and experience with technologies we leverage.
  • Interface with other team members to build critical portions of the app.
  • Embrace our DevOps culture: You build it, you run it.
  • Work well cross-functionally and earn trust from coworkers at all levels.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, working as a Full Stack at scale.
  • Ability to write secure code that works quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused and product-focused mindset.
  • Ability to operate independently, be detail-oriented, and deliver results in an organized manner.
  • Preference for simple solutions and designs over complex ones.
  • Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different areas of expertise.
  • Comfortable working in a chaotic environment.
  • Familiarity with our tech stack: TypeScript, React, styled-components, Python, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MySQL, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, pytes, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub, CircleCI, Next.js, AR/VR.
