About this opportunity

Join our Reception team based in Brighton on a fixed term contract covering maternity leave, where you'll be responsible for welcoming visitors and signing them in at Paxton. You will also provide general administrative support across all departments, ensuring exceptional service is provided to both internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily maintenance of meeting rooms, replenishing refreshments, and catering for meetings and events.
  • Collaboration with the Health & Safety team to ensure compliance with all H&S procedures. This includes carrying out core tasks like fire safety and first aid checks, reporting any breaches or potential hazards as required.
  • Assisting with the daily restocking of departmental kitchens, refilling fruit boxes, cereal bars, and fridges.
  • Organizing essential services such as security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, and recycling.
  • Providing quick and supportive responses to emergency situations or urgent requests.
  • Taking responsibility for administrative tasks such as post, incoming and outgoing communications, and recording staff absence.
  • Organising travel arrangements, accommodation, and entertainment for staff and visitors across the business.
  • Visits to our Eastbourne site to provide hospitality and administrative support.
