Finance Officer Opportunity

Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire is partnering with a forward-thinking education sector in Oxford to find a skilled Finance Officer for a temporary to fixed-term contract position. Main Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and review of budgets to ensure accurate financial planning and forecasting.
  2. Provide regular financial updates to the manager and budget holders as required.
  3. Process orders, invoices, and one-off payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Monitor the 'Invoices on Hold' report and address related issues to ensure prompt payment.
  5. Process various payroll claim forms within specified deadlines.
  6. Raise sales invoices as needed.
Requirements
  • Pursuing AAT qualification is highly desirable.
  • Strong mathematical and English skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization is required.
  • Proficiency in using sophisticated computerized financial accounting systems is necessary.
  • Experience with MS Excel and Word is highly desirable.
