About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team at Sodexo Group. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving Food and Drink: Serve food and drink to students, staff, and guests as directed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Food Service Support: Assist with food service and replenishment of food, beverages, and equipment to support service times.
  • Event Support: Assist with the set-up, service, clearing, and cleaning of function catering as requested.
  • Customer Service: Promote a good company image to students and guests by using positive customer service practices.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare all food with due care and attention, particularly in regard to customers' special dietary requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all policies relating to deliveries and storage are adhered to in relation to health, food safety, quality, quantity, and temperature.

  • Flexible Working Hours: We offer a flexible working pattern, with 35 hours per week and the opportunity to work 5 days over 7.
