Paediatric Metabolic Clinical Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Clinical Support Worker for Paediatric Metabolic Services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy and friendly team, delivering high-quality administrative and clinical support for the Metabolic service.
Main Responsibilities- Provide administrative and clinical support to the Metabolic team, including clerical tasks, follow-up of patients, and updating of databases.
- Support the development of health promotion and educational resources in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.
- Be an accessible and approachable member of the team, providing support and advice to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work independently within the scope of the role, prioritizing and managing your own workload.
- Level 2 literacy and numeracy or GCSE grade C or above.
- Care Certificate.
- Evidence of ongoing personal professional development.
- Evidence of IT competency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Willingness to undertake phlebotomy training.
- Phlebotomy training.
- NVQ level 2 in care.
- Understanding of Trust IT systems.
