Paediatric Metabolic Clinical Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Children's Hospital team as a Paediatric Metabolic Clinical Support Worker. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality administrative and clinical support for the Metabolic service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clinical support to the Metabolic Nursing Team, including clerical tasks, follow-up of patients, and updating of databases.
  • Support the development of health promotion and educational resources in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.
  • Be an accessible and approachable member of the team, providing a first point of contact for patients and families.
  • Work independently within the scope of the role, prioritizing and managing your own workload.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with children and young people and/or healthcare settings is an advantage.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and develop in your role.
  • Ability to work in a busy and dynamic environment, prioritizing and managing your own workload.
