About the Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development of a new residential childcare service. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for creating a supportive environment that fosters growth and stability for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex histories.

Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Care Environment: Establishing a caring and therapeutic atmosphere tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensuring the home meets all regulatory requirements, implementing quality assurance processes, and driving improvement plans.
  • Care Planning: Overseeing individual care plans and risk assessments to support the children's progression and well-being.
  • Collaboration & Safeguarding: Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, prioritising safeguarding, and promoting the overall well-being of all children in your care.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of EBD, mental health, and complex care needs, as well as a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes for children in care.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a residential childcare setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Ongoing support and professional development opportunities.

Offered salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
