Engineering Supervisor - Heathrow Airport


Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers at Heathrow Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair activities at the airport, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers.

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and handle reactive works.

Respond effectively to both critical and non-critical mechanical/electrical failures.

Oversee incident management, monitor plant status, and manage equipment breakdowns.

Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

Promote excellent customer service by coaching and supporting your team in maintaining strong client relationships.

Manage an inventory of regularly used parts and critical spares.


Key Skills & Qualifications:

A technical qualification in an electrical (preferred) or mechanical discipline.

18th Edition qualified.

High Voltage - Authorised Person (HV-AP) experience, qualified to JPS 375, or willing to undertake necessary training.

PS-AP qualification or the willingness to obtain and maintain it.

Solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical building services.
