Position Overview:
As a Client Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting business advisors in preparing adult job seekers for successful employment transitions. Your responsibilities will include facilitating employability workshops, conducting job search sessions both individually and in groups, and collaborating with the business team to identify suitable candidates for various job openings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide essential information to target demographics regarding our services and employment support programs through one-on-one consultations and introductory workshops, as well as participating in job fairs and outreach initiatives.
2. Encourage and assist clients in their job search efforts by offering guidance on job vacancies, interview preparation, and pre-employment training as needed.
3. Deliver both individual and group support in creating and updating CVs, including uploading documents to job search platforms, completing application forms, mastering interview techniques, and facilitating access to online job resources.
4. Coordinate employment interviews and referrals for pre-employment training to help individuals enhance their skills and secure job opportunities.
5. Oversee the management of company job vacancies, ensuring timely posting, monitoring closing dates, and accurately tracking CV submissions and shortlisting processes, while collaborating with colleagues and partner organizations to submit candidates and provide constructive feedback to optimize recruitment efforts.
6. Maintain and update client records following initial consultations, ensuring the database is current and informing client advisors of any changes.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to stay informed about available opportunities and make appropriate referrals.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in a recruitment or career advisory setting, having assisted individuals in achieving their employment objectives through personalized action plans.
- Proficiency in ICT tools, with a solid understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, alongside the ability to navigate and utilize databases effectively.
- Awareness of the challenges individuals face in accessing employment and the barriers that may arise.
