We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Care Assistant to provide care and support for Young People with complex needs in our semi-rural children's homes in Abergavenny.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to Young People with complex needs. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and support to Young People, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with Young People, families, and other stakeholders
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contributing to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to policies and procedures

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in childcare or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Experience working with Young People with complex needs (voluntary or paid)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
