Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as getting up, going to bed, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, grooming, eating, drinking, using the toilet, maintaining continence, moving, and transferring.
- Health-related Tasks: Maintain medical regimes, catheter and stoma care, prevention of pressure sores, sight loss reporting, and other health-related tasks that the client would normally take responsibility for.
- Domestic Service: Provide light housekeeping duties, laundry and ironing, meal preparation, shopping, and errands.
- Social and Emotional Support: Promote a sense of wellbeing, meet emotional needs, mobility, transport, company, conversation, and listening.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be empathetic and understanding, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support services. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
Requirements:- A vehicle with a current clean driving license, MOT, and insurance that covers business purposes.
- A mobile phone (company-provided).
- A competitive salary of £22,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours) based on experience.
- Guaranteed contracted hours (10, 16, 25, and 35 hours).
