Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager / Senior Technical Delivery Team Lead to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of IT Support Engineers who provide technical support to clients directly, and to other members of your teams in house.

As the IT Infrastructure Manager / Senior Technical Delivery Team Lead, you will provide technical account management to a key group of strategically important customers, you will provide solutions, design and provide technical management on projects, and progress the commercial development of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the technical team, ensuring that all technical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Team Management: Manage and lead a team of IT Support Engineers, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure that the team is working effectively and efficiently.
  3. Client Management: Provide technical account management to a key group of strategically important customers, building strong relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.
  4. Project Management: Manage and deliver technical projects, including design, implementation, and testing, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  5. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the technical team, ensuring that all technical projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  6. Commercial Development: Progress the commercial development of the organisation, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to achieve business growth.
Requirements
  1. Technical Experience: Proven technical experience in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of IT Networks, MS Windows, and Microsoft Modern Workplace Technologies.
  2. Management Experience: Proven management experience of a team of at least 5 people, with a strong track record of delivering results and achieving business objectives.
  3. Technical Skills: Excellent level of technical experience of Windows and Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies, including Intune and Autopilot, Modern workplace Cloud infrastructure management, and Network Infrastructure.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
