We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Global Head of Seafood. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our seafood business.
Key Responsibilities- Be the voice of seafood globally, bringing a deep understanding of operations and commercial acumen to drive business growth and development.
- Lead teams to deliver high-quality services to clients, ensuring we meet our commitments and exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive effective service delivery and support the sales team with technical queries and tenders.
- Develop and implement a global roadmap for seafood, driving commercial development and growth.
- Degree qualification in a fisheries and/or aquaculture related field.
- Trained and approved fisheries and/or aquaculture auditor against an internationally recognised standard.
- Extensive industry experience within the fisheries and/or aquaculture sectors.
- IRCA approved ISO 9001: 2000 Lead Auditor course.
- Industry recognised professional qualification in marine management.
- Experience managing accreditation for international certification schemes for food and beverage, including aquaculture and fisheries.
- Demonstrable and up-to-date knowledge within at least one fisheries and/or aquaculture management system.
- HACCP knowledge.
- Awareness of food industry legislation and Codes of Practice.
- Knowledge of quality assurance schemes within food supply chains.
- Proven leadership experience.
