Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at NP Aerospace. As a Project Manager Defence Training Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of projects supporting the delivery of new defence protection products, such as armour plates, shields, helmets, and bomb disposal suits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects across the Composite and Armour Systems business
- Lead the delivery of technically focused projects
- Develop and maintain Project Management Plans and associated governance documentation
- Provide robust management information reporting on progress both internally and externally
- Collaborate with the bid management team on bid preparation activities
- Ownership of the financial budget and forecasting future risks and opportunities
Requirements:
- Experienced Project Management professional with strong leadership skills
- Demonstrable track record in successful project setup, execution, and delivery
- Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
- Proficient in all Microsoft packages, including MS Project
- A self-starter who can work independently and effectively under minimal supervision
- Knowledge and experience in the effective use of Project Management tools and techniques
