Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client in Yeovil. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated engineer with experience in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
  2. Apply engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, and machines.
  3. Work under supervision to perform the functions of the job.
  4. Focus on REACH obsolescence within our current product range.
  5. Support the development of design concepts and conduct detailed design work.
Necessary Skills:
  1. Attention to detail and ability to review existing drawings.
  2. Produce detailed designs and layouts to meet customer requirements.
  3. Complete and check drawing packs and supporting documentation.
  4. Ability to work in a flexible environment and deliver against project schedules.
Requirements:

The successful candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK and be able to pass all appropriate background and security checks.
