We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Clinical Support Worker to join our Respiratory and Sleep Service team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients with suspected sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support patients with suspected sleep disorders, including performing clinical observations and setting up domiciliary sleep studies.
- Manage and maintain the highest standards of care for our patients undergoing sleep assessment, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Collaborate with our experienced team to provide excellent patient care, promoting good working relationships and effective communication.
- Participate in the weekly multidisciplinary team meeting and contribute to ongoing research, education, and development activities.
- Take part in the cleaning and preparation of sleep studies equipment, adhering to infection control standards.
- NVQ level 2 qualification in a relevant field.
- Good computer literacy skills and ability to manage diagnostic devices and data input.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a sleep service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients at different levels.
- Basic understanding of current NHS issues and awareness of strategies for maintaining a safe environment.
