Event Production Specialist

BNY Mellon is seeking a skilled Event Production Specialist to join our Technology Services Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the production and execution of high-profile events, including live event production, sound engineering, webcasts, and client events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead support for BNY Mellon high-profile events, including ideation, planning, design, and execution.
  • Execute live event production, sound engineering, webcasts, C-Suite global town halls, network broadcasts, and client events.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and disruptions, minimizing impact to events and audience.
  • Support multiple and complex parallel projects, ensuring excellent planning, timely delivery, and exceptional execution while managing contingencies, changes, and dynamic needs/expectations.
  • Investigate, assess, and introduce new tools and novel techniques to elevate audience experiences and enhance visual storytelling.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in broadcast and event production within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience as a team leader managing small teams.
  • Sound technical acumen of video conferencing resources, including WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
  • Highly creative, innovative, and skilled with a broad range of event production tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of security and data privacy standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work well with others, gain rapid alignment, and secure support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience engaging with executive stakeholders, including C-suite and Board of Directors.
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail, able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines within a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work non-standard work hours and travel depending on event expectations.
