Job Summary

Eames Consulting is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineering Lead to join our team. Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership
    • Lead a team of Java developers, offering technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products.
    • Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Software Development
    • Architect and design scalable, reliable, and maintainable Java-based applications.
    • Establish coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies for high-quality software delivery.
    • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and consistency.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
    • Stay updated on the latest technologies, tools, and trends in Java development.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely issue resolution.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies for effective collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Java software development.
  • Prior experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Java, with a deep understanding of its ecosystem.
  • Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
