About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Sports Interactive, a leading game development studio. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for enhancing our animation engine and contributing to the development of our football match simulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop animation systems for our football games
  • Collaborate with animators, artists, and engineers to improve the visuals and realism of our match simulation
  • Research and implement new animation and simulation technologies
  • Work closely with seniors/leads and production to drive new features and set long-term roadmaps
  • Contribute to the development of our physics system and internal animation tooling
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of C++ and software engineering principles
  • Minimum five years of professional experience using C++ as the main language
  • Experience designing and developing animation systems within the games industry
  • Strong academic background with a 2:1 degree or higher in a relevant technical field
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with software engineers, artists, animators, and production staff
