Job Description:

This role involves delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of a Year 5 class. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching and learning, able to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum, incorporating various teaching strategies to engage students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support to ensure each child achieves their full potential.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff, promoting a sense of community and collaboration.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and the school's ethos, embodying the values of Opogo Education.

Requirements:

  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5 (desired but not essential).
  • Is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Holds a passion for education and a willingness to contribute to the school's community and values.

Estimated Salary: £34,400 - £46,000 per annum
