Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Futures Recruitment Services Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the engineering functions for the product range, ensuring that all products meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and resources to existing products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products that meet customer needs and expectations.
- Prioritize improvements and resolve issues, working collaboratively with colleagues to identify and implement solutions.
- Manage and allocate resources, working with other teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop customer relations, building strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and developing products that meet those needs.
- Experience of mechanical engineering and manufacturing engineering, with a strong understanding of technical specifications and quality standards.
- HNC or degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience from a manufacturing or construction background, with a strong understanding of production processes and systems.
- Management or supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering projects.
- Sheet metal processing, CNC turning, and pressure die-casting experience, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.
- MRP experience, ideally in the use of Sage, with a strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain systems.
- CAD experience, ideally competent in SolidWorks or similar software, with a strong understanding of design and engineering principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capability, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement long-term plans and strategies.
