The role of a Physical Healthcare Nurse at Elysium Healthcare offers an exciting opportunity to promote health and wellbeing for people with complex needs. Based at The Farndon Unit in Newark, Nottinghamshire, this position is ideal for a qualified nurse looking to work in a dynamic environment.
">Job Description:As a Physical Healthcare Nurse, you will lead and coordinate all aspects of the physical health needs of service users, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork with the multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include monitoring observations and assessments to identify any actions that need to be addressed and documented.
Responsibilities:
- Adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct and facilitate the compliance with local, Trust and national standards of practice.
- Developing and supporting physical health interventions used in the clinical area using knowledge of current best evidence-based practice.
- Engaging actively in practice development, evaluation, audit activities relevant to physical healthcare and/or service areas to promote evidence-based practice.
- Working collaboratively with primary health, developing and maintaining links with GP practices, and other physical health departments.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A relevant nursing qualification and registration
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
- Understand the physical health care needs for individuals who are living with an acquired brain injury
