  • Work within a small dedicated team, utilizing your expertise and knowledge of the law to make decisions on cases and prioritize workload according to risk, urgency, and complexity.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to ensure effective support and management of cases.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) with a sound knowledge of the law and mental health legislation.
  • Strong assessment and support skills, with the ability to work with vulnerable individuals and their families.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing workload and managing competing demands.
  • Commitment to promoting equality and respecting diversity, with a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable individuals.
