About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate professional to join our team as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to supporting victims of domestic abuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to victims of domestic abuse, prioritizing those at high risk of harm.
- Work closely with local agencies and partnerships to ensure a cohesive response to domestic abuse.
- Have a good understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable individuals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
