Key Advisor for Vulnerable Populations

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Single Point of Contact Advisor within Humankind. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all calls coming into the service, gathering accurate information from individuals, and directing them to the correct element of the service.
About You
You will have a passion for making a difference and ensuring fair chances for all. Experience of working with vulnerable people and the issues facing those who misuse substances is necessary. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all calls coming into the service, including screening enquiries and prescribing queries
- Gathering accurate information from individuals contacting the SPOC
- Completing Triages
- Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals
Requirements
- GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is £23,000 - £26,000 (Pro Rata'd to 23.5 Hours). The role also requires an Enhanced Adult DBS check.
