Job Description - Security Consultant, Information Security

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Consultant to join our team at AXA XL. As a key member of our security team, you will provide expert advice and guidance to our business units on security-related matters, ensuring the effective management of security risks and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with business units to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  2. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and remediation.
  4. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into project planning and delivery.
  5. Provide training and awareness programs to ensure employees understand security best practices and their roles in maintaining a secure environment.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide recommendations for implementing new security measures.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Excellent knowledge of working within an Agile Framework such as SAFe.
  3. Knowledge of performing project risk assessments and experience in performing Information Security technical risk assessments.
  4. Proficient in information security risk and governance frameworks (ISO 27005, EBIOS).
  5. Information Security certification (CISSP, CISM or equivalent).
  6. Experience in articulating IS risks in business language and advising on the appropriate risk management action.
  7. Experience in information security management reporting and related methodologies.
