About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our specialist security team at BT Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction for the build, delivery, and maintenance of world-class secure platforms, including Active Directory and Virtual Desktop components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction for the build, delivery, and maintenance of secure platforms
  • Be hands-on in all aspects of design, build, and deployment of customer-facing systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop great working relationships and share knowledge
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture, empowering others through coaching and development

Requirements
  • Deep experience in deploying, supporting, and patching Windows servers including AD, DNS, and ADCS
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of deploying and maintaining virtual desktop infrastructures such as Citrix VDA
  • Experience integrating systems, networks, or software in on-premise environments
  • Collaborative partner with great working relationships and knowledge-sharing skills
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Puppet
  • Experience deploying and managing Microsoft SQL Server
  • Managed endpoint protection technologies such as Trellix ePO
  • Some exposure to Chocolatey and packaging for offline environments
