Job Title: Windows Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at British Telecom. As a key member of our Cyber Security function, you will be responsible for providing technical direction for the build, delivery, and maintenance of world-class secure platforms, including Active Directory and Virtual Desktop components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction for the build, delivery, and maintenance of world-class secure platforms.
  • Be hands-on in all aspects of the design, build, and deployment of customer-facing systems.
  • Integrate systems, networks, or software in on-premise environments.
  • Deploy, support, and patch Windows servers, including AD, DNS, and ADCS.
  • Deploy and maintain virtual desktop infrastructures, such as Citrix VDA.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture, empowering others through coaching and development using modern development methodologies.
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure as code tools, such as Ansible or Puppet.
  • Coordinate and prioritize activities according to internal and external requirements.
